The cast of La Vie en Rosé: The Movie is set to take center stage at Comic Con 2018.
The reboot of the 1989 cult classic is set for a Feb. 14-20 event at San Diego Convention Center.
The movie, which starred Jennifer Lawrence, James Franco, and Amy Adams, was originally set to premiere in 2018.
However, production on the new movie was put on hold for lack of money.
The cast and crew have been busy on social media in recent weeks.
According to the official cast and creators website, the movie will be directed by David Fincher, with the film written by Daniel Espinosa and David Ayer.
The project has been in the works for over a decade.
The original La Vie En Rosé stars Jennifer Lawrence as a shy, socially awkward college student who, after receiving a love letter from a professor, embarks on a quest to get a massage.
The film also stars Franco as the eccentric Dr. Jacques Fonseca, the first ever “professional” la vida therapist.
The cast also includes Amy Adams as Dr. Jules and James Franco as Drs.
Jolyne and Jocelyn.
The La Vie, in the film’s title, is a French word for “the light” or “joy” and is used as an alternative to the term “la.”
The La Vie is traditionally considered a more “feminine” word than the La.
The film also featured a cameo by Jodie Foster, the actress who played a doctor on the ABC series Grey’s Anatomy.
